Moira Worldwide Missionary Convention

History

In June 1979 veteran missionaries Bob and Alma McAllister went for a walk in the park. That walk in Moira Demesne turned into a divine appointment for world missions. It was there, 29 years ago, that Moira Worldwide Missionary Convention was born.

Bob and Alma were to move on to further missions around the world but the Convention, through the dedication of local Christians, has continued until this day. The Convention has changed location over the years. Gone is the tent in the park and with the cooperation of local churches we have seen it grow and prosper in Moira. Each year there has been a steady increase in attendance.
